Silver:  Sadegh Goudarzi is from Iran, and if you'll forgive a political comment from what is a series of blog posts on the London Olympics:

DON'T BOMB IRAN
Theere are too many
unintended consequences
including help for the Horrible Saudis
and too many intended ones, too.

Sadegh was born in (from Wikipedia) Malayer (Persian: ملاير‎, also Romanized as Malāyer; formerly Dowlatabad (Persian: دَولَت آباد), also Romanized as Dowlatābād and Daūlatābād) is a city in and capital of Malayer County, Hamadan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 153,748, in 40,750 families. . . .

. . . . One of the notable aspects of the Malayer in the 1960s was a series of beautifully decorated horse and buggies. Any day of the week about twenty-five such horse and carriages were mostly parked in the town center with ready drivers to serve visitors and the locals. The most popular destination for carriages was the City Park, called "Park-e Malyer". "Park-e Malayer" was another City trademark well known in the Hamedan province. The park, situated a couple of miles outside the City, contained a number of small lakes, lush vegetation, colorful ducks and many trees and shrubbery.

Bronze:  tie: Soslan Tigiev is an Uzbekistani wrestler.

and Denis Tsargush (Denís Tsargúsh) who was born in Gudauta, Abkhazia, Georgia.  Denís is a male freestyle wrestler, said to be from Abkhazia. Like South Ossetia, Abkhazia is recognized by Russia and a few other countries, is claimed by Georgia, and, apparently, the Olympic committee was satisfied.
