Things news outlets could talk about, if they tire of talking about The Pretty Boy in The Oval Office

This 10-year-old documentary is alarming:  The Future of Water (2007)

To see how alarming, look at the present implications for India-China Relations (Water Wars: China, India and the Great Dam Rush | The Diplomat).

We won't speak of the destruction and death implied for Bangladesh, wholly dependent upon India for its water.  Not nearly pretty enough for the Nation's news outlets.

“The time has come," the Walrus said,
   “To talk of many things:
Of shoes--and ships--and sealing-wax--
   Of cabbages--and kings--
And why the sea is boiling hot--
   And whether pigs have wings.”

The Walrus and the Carpenter, Lewis Carroll, 1832 - 1898

Our talking heads continue their interminable speculation on Jared Kushner, The Pretty Boy in the Oval Office . . .

And matters of importance to human animals and elephants and panthers and all manner of creatures are happening all around us all the time.

Open your eyes please.

Or not.

What does it matter, anyway, if millions of our kith and kin wither and die? To say naught of the bird, beast, and flowering creatures that accompany us round and round the sun.  All will wither and die when the sun blooms up to swallow the earth; why wait?

Open your eyes, please.
It's time.
